Central Freight Lines Welcomes Serviceman to Seattle Terminal

Seattle, WA March 10, 2005- Randall Rigdon, who recently celebrated his 17th anniversary as an active member of the United States National Guard, has returned to Central Freight Lines, Inc. (Nasdaq/NMS: CENF) as Seattle Terminal Manager. The announcement was made today by Eric Rhea, Western Division Vice President.

Prior to his 23 month state-side tour of duty on a Law Enforcement and Security mission for the United States Airforce, Rigdon had been working at Centrals Pico Rivera, California terminal as Dock Supervisor. Upon his return from duty, his discipline, respect, and command made him the perfect candidate to assume the Seattle Terminal Manager responsibilities, said Rhea. We are pleased to have Randall, an incredibly dedicated employee and serviceman, working with our Seattle customers and employees.

Rigdon, who is in the process of transferring to the Fort Lewis National Guard, intends to accumulate 30 years of service and retire as a Sergeant Major. As he works toward that goal, he is putting his 13 years of experience in the transportation industry to good use at Central. I am proud to work for Central, said Rigdon.
