Southeastern Receives Ryder Carrier Quality Award for the Seventh Consecutive Year

Southeastern Freight Lines was recently honored by Ryder System, Incorporated. Southeastern was presented with the Ryder Carrier Quality Award for the year 2003, in the Southern region category. This is the seventh year that Ryder has presented a formal quality award, and the seventh consecutive year Southeastern has been the recipient. Ryder's quality process allows Ryder to measure transportation provider performance, for the purpose of selection and growth with the carriers who can best deliver superior service and value to their clients. The qualifications for this award are based on a quantitative scorecard with points given on a variety of metrics, including on-time performance, claims handling, customer service, technology applications, economic value and innovation.
