Saia Continues Improvement of Transit Times

DULUTH, GA - Due to the ongoing development of operational efficiencies throughout their 30-state system, Less-Than-Truckload carrier Saia has announced additional reductions in transit times from key points in the Midwest. This announcement follows on improvements implemented earlier this summer.

The changes will mean that Saia customers will receive a 1-day improvement in delivery times on freight moving from points served by the Oklahoma City, OK and Lincoln, NE facilities to terminals across the Midwest.

Improved transit times will positively affect those shipments originating in or destined to points served by terminals in Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska and Wisconsin, Saia representatives said.

"Improving transit times has been a top priority for Saia and we have put a strong emphasis on delivering the types of service our customers have said are most useful for them."
