G.I. Trucking Customers in Washington and Oregon Can Take Greater Advantage

Company provides service with almost 12,000 overnight lanes between Pacific Northwest cities.

BREA, CA - G.I. Trucking Company customers in Washington and Oregon can take advantage of even faster service with over 4,300 new overnight lanes between key Pacific Northwest cities according to Fran Glidewell, Vice President, Sales & Marketing. These are in addition to approximately 7,000 "overnight" lanes that have already been available to customers in the two states.

With the new lane additions, G.I. Trucking Company now provides overnight service to more than 85 percent of the communities in the two state area.

During 2004, the company has been progressively adding faster services especially with the activation last April of new services centers in Eugene and Medford, Oregon and Kennewick, Washington.

For some time, G.I. Trucking Company has been providing extensive overnight services from the company's other regional service centers in Portland, Seattle, Olympia, and Spokane.

All of these service enhancements benefit customer-shipping demands to major Pacific Northwest cities as well as to surrounding communities served out of those service centers.

Our major business goal is to provide our customers with both fast and reliable service. These overnight lane additions provide us with greater opportunities to meet both objectives, noted Bill Reid, G.I. Trucking Company President.

According to Glidewell, two-day shipments are available from all Pacific Northwest service centers to major destinations in California and other western states.

G.I. Trucking Company provides direct less-than-truckload (LTL) service to 13 Western states from 59 terminals. It also offers transportation service to every U.S state and all of Canada through its ExpressLINK North American service network.
