(NYSE: R), a global leader in transportation and supply chain management solutions, today announced it has been selected by the New York Post, the sixth largest daily newspaper in the country, with a daily circulation of 680,000, to support distribution of the newspaper to the New York Metro area.

Under a multi-year Full Service Lease contract, Ryder will provide a turnkey transportation package that includes 150 customized vehicles, fleet management, and preventive and programmed maintenance services. This integrated transportation solution will help the New York Post improve its transportation efficiency and delivery timeliness utilizing a combination of specially designed trucks and equipment.
