CHICAGO, North American Van Lines (NAVL), a subsidiary of global relocation services provider SIRVA, Inc., (NYSE: SIR), has recognized Lance Bowman as NAVLs 2004 Driver of the Year at the companys recent annual convention in Las Vegas.
The gathering attracted more than 200 agents from the entire network of NAVL agents, as well as senior executives from SIRVA and North American Van Lines.
Bowman, an employee of North American Moving & Storage based in Fort Wayne, Ind., received the top driver honor based on several factors, including his outstanding safety record, pick-up and delivery record, and customer satisfaction rating.
He has been associated with NAVL for 13 years and was selected from a pool of about 1,800 drivers in the firms global fleet by a group of independent NAVL judges who identified 12 finalists.

Lance is truly the cream of the crop and we are extremely proud that he represents us on the roads and in communities throughout the country.
NAVL uses a rigorous method by which it assesses eligible drivers for the award, including safety performance and individual quality scores that are based on quality review surveys performed by independent research teams that survey customers of each van operator.
In recognition of his achievement, Bowman received a plaque, watch, an all-expenses-paid trip to NAVLs annual convention in Las Vegas, a $1,500 savings bond, and a jacket and truck decals noting his achievement.
