USF Holland Opens New Atlanta Area Terminal

USF Holland Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of USF Corporation (NASDAQ:USFC), announced the opening of a new terminal in Norcross, Georgia. Rapid growth in the Atlanta, Georgia market had strained the capacity of the current terminal location. To meet these needs, USF Holland opened a second Atlanta area terminal at 6431 Corley Road in Norcross, Goergia on February 14th. The new terminal, located two miles off Interstate 85, reduces traffic delays of freight traveling in and out of this congested market from and the central states.

The terminal is 39 doors and 6.9 acres with a 1,807 square foot office and a 10,593 square foot dock. Rick Welcher, a 28 year transportation industry veteran, was named Terminal Manager of the new facility.

"Customer demand for our services in the Atlanta market has increased to the point where expansion was necessary to accommodate all the business and provide the usual high level of service our customers expect".

This is the fifth new enlarged terminal announced recently by USF Holland. New terminals in Owatonna, Minnesota and Decatur, Alabama opened for business in December and new facilities should open in the St. Louis, Missouri and South Bend, Indiana marktes later this year.
