USF Holland Named "Carrier of the Year" By Chem Treat

USF Holland Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of USF Corporation (NASDAQ:USFC), announced that it has been named LTL "Carrier of the Year" by Chem Treat, Inc., a Glen Allen, VA-based manufacturer of water treatment chemicals. This is the first time in Chem Treat's history that it has presented an award for LTL Carrier of the Year.

Carriers were judged quantitatively in a number of categories including on-time delivery, lost and damaged product, billing accuracy and feedback from customer surveys. There was also a subjective element based on the experience of ChemTreat's shipping and receiving professionals.

According to David Cook, Manager of Transportation for Chem Treat, "USF Holland competed for Chem Treat's LTL carrier of the year against other outstanding LTL carriers. The fact that USF Holland was selected the winner indicates their ability as a carrier to provide outstanding service and support for their customers. While USF Holland prides itself on its service, claims and on-time performance, it is our belief that its people made this award possible.
