Texas Hot Shot Company, Inc. is one of the oldest oilfield haulers in the United States. It was founded in 1947 with the purpose of providing small-scale truck -"Hot Shot" (rapid response and delivery) - services for the oil field area between Texas and Louisiana.  Down the line, the company has expanded its services in terms of equipment, freight hauled, and geographic coverage and now boasts 6 locations and over 150 trucks, including tandem tractors, winch and pole trucks, goosenecks, flatbeds, pickups and specialized trailers, services a large client base. This customer base is so expansive that it includes many of the world’s leading oil and gas companies.
 
The company head quarters are in Houston, Texas where it has established itself as a leading oil field trucking company servicing the oil field, petro-chemical, industrial and general freight industry now. The company’s main services are dedicated to the moving oil field pipe, machinery and equipment between locations distributed among the major oil field states as well as providing truckload flatbed services to all 48 states.
 
A further acquisition in the form of Future Freightways, in 1994 paved the way for the team at Texas Hot Shot Company to specialize in the transportation and brokering of industrial and general commodities. 

With the passage of time and the increase of demand and customer base, there was welcome success ratio recorded by the company when again, in 1998, Texas Hot Shot Company, Inc. added a dedicated fleet of specialized bulk trailers with the sole purpose of hauling non-hazardous dry bulk products for the oil field and industrial industries for the convenience of its esteemed customers.
 
With continual stress on well being, "Safety" has been the primary focus at Texas Hot Shot and all employees, including top level management, are committed to a safe and efficient operation as stated in their mission statement.  This is the reason that the company employs a professional certified Safety Director along with a qualified safety support staff as a security facilitator group while it carries a full line of cargo, workers compensation, and auto liability insurance, which meets or exceeds all Department of Transportation regulations.
