St Joseph Equipment Inc.
St. Joseph Equipment was started in St. Joseph, located just outside of La Crosse Wisconsin, in 1948. Its founder William Schams, Sr. started the business as a Ferguson later to become Massey Ferguson tractor dealership. The current owner, Willam G. Schams, Jr. purchased the company from his father in 1956. In the early 1960's, St. Joseph Equipment expanded its offering to include the industrial line of Massey Ferguson.
St. Joseph Equipment moved into its first new building in 1965 and the company was incorporated under the name St. Joseph's Equipment, Inc. On January 1, 1970, the name was later changed to St. Joseph Equipment Inc. They sell, lease, rent and service a variety of manufacturers; Case, Case IH, Hyundai, New Holland, and Massey Ferguson just to name a few.
Currently, St. Joseph Equipment Inc. serves all of western Wisconsin and most of the state of Minnesota from five locations with four stores dealing primarily with industrial/construction equipment and on location with agricultural equipment. St. Joseph Equipment Inc. has an existing customer satisfaction survey program that monitors progress toward achieving goals of continuous improvement.
Every month a sample of customers is mailed a satisfaction survey, which is customized for whole goods, parts or service. The results are tabulated and distributed to the appropriate department managers and executive personnel. St. Joseph Equipment Inc. Service Department is committed to giving their customers fast, friendly, reliable service. Their goal is to help keep your machine running smooth and maintenance free as possible.
