A&P employs 42,872 associates. Annualized sales volume is approximately $11 billion. Common stock of the Company is listed and traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol GAP and has unlisted trading privileges on the Boston, Midwest, Philadelphia, Cincinnati, and Pacific Stock Exchanges. The stock is generally reported in newspapers and periodical tables as GtAtPc. The Company distributes private label product lines sold exclusively throughout its U.S.banners under the trade names- America's Choice, Master Choice, Health Pride and Savings Plus.
 
A&P U.S. operates stores along the eastern seaboard from Vermont to Maryland, in the Midwest state of Michigan and, and in New Orleans area. These stores formats vary from traditional supermarkets (A&P, A&P Foodmart, Waldbaum's, Super Fresh, Farmer Jack and Sav-A-Center) featuring fresh produce, seafood, meat, deli, groceries, floral, and pharmacies, to upscale gourmet stores (The Food Emporium), to limited variety stores featuring everyday low prices.
