United Armored Services was established in 1971 with the company headquarters in Broadview, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. UAS is the largest armored services company operating in the Midwest, and is the sixth largest Armored Services in the nation.
UAS has a customer base that includes retailers, financial institutions, currency exchanges, federal, state and local governmental agencies, wholesalers, restaurants, hospitals, and entertainment facilities. Services are provided with a fleet of over 200 armored vehicles, including single and tandem axle trucks and armored tractor-trailers, and over 75 non-armored support vehicles.
UAS delivers a wide range of services including secured cash/valuable commodities transportation, ATM service and technical support, cash processing services, cod currency and coin, coin wrapping, and government services. The extensive use of technology allows for the delivery of sophisticated solutions to any customer requirements, including deposit tracking, ordering, customer service inquiry tracking, deposit viewing and ATM balance reporting. The Company also provides a full service ATM program for over thousands of automatic teller machines including settlement replenishment, cassette loading, cash forecasting, cash inventory vaulting, and first line maintenance. UAS also provides a full range of vaulting services, including COD (Cash On Delivery) change order preparation, deposit processing, currency consolidation and breakdown processing.
UAS is the Midwest's largest cash vault processor, incorporating the latest technology in both equipment and software. UAS cash processing consists of a multitude of services like retail deposit verification, bank deposit verification/outsource work/virtual vault and Federal Reserve breakdown and consolidation bulk currency. The Company maintains the most advanced coin wrapping equipment to handle the 6 million wraps of coin they produce each month. UAS apart is their unique ability to pick up customer's coin, verify it and purchase it directly from customers, saving the customers additional processing fees.
