Mr. Douglas J. Menne the current owner founded Vanguard Transportation Systems Inc. in 1981. Vanguard is a regional truckload carrier specializing in expedited freight. The home office is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, along with central dispatch for the van and flatbed divisions.

They have more than 200 pieces of equipments flatbeds, vans, dropdeck and trailers. Their trucks are equipped with Qualcomm and Nextel nationwide two way communication for accessibility for their drivers.
