Williams Tank Lines was founded in March of 1976 by Michael and Marlys Williams. Mike Williams has been involved in transportation industry for over thirty years. Prior to starting Williams Tank Lines, Mike was a delivery driver for a major oil company. This particular oil company eliminated their transportation entity and opening up the opportunity for Mike.
The corporate office is located at California. This location handles all operations for the company including dispatch and billing operations for all of the outside locations. Williams Tank Lines is one of the largest for hire bulk petroleum carriers in California. The company operates over hundred units out of nine different locations in California and one location in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In the beginning, support for Williams Tank Lines came from a small group of independent jobbers. Currently Williams Tank Lines serves over three hundred customers ranging from independent jobbers to major oil companies, to any individual who is in need of their transportation services.
Williams Tank Lines provides their customers with daily delivery service of all types of petroleum products. The company also operates a fleet of International Chamber of Commerce licensed vehicles which transport bulk products throughout the Western United States.
