FORBES MAGAZINE NAMES J.B. HUNT TRANSPORT SERVICES, INC.   TOP GLOBAL 2000 LIST OF THE WORLD’S BIGGEST COMPANIES

LOWELL, ARKANSAS, April 8, 2005 - J. B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. (NASDAQ: JBHT)  announced today that the company has been named to Forbes Magazine’s Global 2000 List of  the World’s Biggest Companies.    

According to the April special issue of the magazine, companies were reviewed on four key  metrics: sales, profits, assets, and market value. Based on the findings, each company then  received a composite score to determine their rank. J.B. Hunt was the only full-truckload  transportation provider from the United States to make the prestigious list.
